Twelve Months in Our Year

During January New Year’s resolutions,

The world can make one to stop pollution. (MJ)

In February my grandfather said to start,

Making my beautiful cards of hearts. (TC)

In March, a lucky month,

I hunt clovers by the bunch. (CE)

In April you will hear pat pat,

When the rain drops go flat. (LS)

April showers bring May flowers, or so I have been told;

Maybe instead, I will get a big, bright, pot of gold. (MJ)

June is full of laughter,

Because it is summer. (ZG)

In July we have no school,

So I will go jump in a pool. (JB)

In August it is burning hot;

When I go to the beach the water helps a lot. (TC)

In September I play football;

I will end up in the hall of fame, on the wall. (JB)

In October I can see fall;

Now I can go to a ball. (NS)

In November it’s Thanksgiving Day;
I go out and play. (CE)

In December with the cross in my mind,

And presents to find. (LS)
